Virtual visits

Meta AI is admittedly sucky at animation, but it's excellent for producing photorealistic images of cartoon characters visiting real venues, provided you can get quality photos of them.

The photo into which I inserted Skye Goodfellow is real, and recently completed, on the corner of Front and Greene Streets in Marietta, OH. Welcome to Levee Park.

This feature is perfect for writing fanfiction travel writing, where I pretend that Skye Goodfellow the angel bear has glided in for a landing. I can picture him doing quite a few fun things at this park.

Letter to Milo

Dear Milo,

I hope my letter finds you seated in your chaise lawn chair, the kind with the criss-cross webbing in it that makes your buttocks look like Belgian waffles.

I hope you are gazing at the fiery yellows, oranges, and reds of the evening sunset in the west.

I hope you are savoring the fresh aroma of a newly mowed lawn that rewards you for a long afternoon of yard work.

I hope you have your favorite brand of orange soda in your hand, and a thrilling baseball game playing on the AM-FM radio by your side.

Sure, the neighbor's Chihuahua may be annoying you with its ceaseless shrill yapping, but if that's the only thing that spoils the vibe, you'll take it, right?

See? No AI needed. You were able to picture the scene quite well. That's what good writing does for you.

I'm already loving my new typewriter.

Lovingly yours,

Skye
